ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Post Production Specialist at Gisou you will be responsible for a wide variety of post-production tasks, including retouching, colour grading, and image resizing, to ensure the delivery of visually stunning imagery across digital and physical platforms. Additionally, expertise in skin and hair retouching and the ability to prepare assets for print are essential for this role. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Retouch shoot imagery to perfection, with a focus on enhancing natural skin and hair to reflect our brands commitment to beauty and authenticity.
• Perform meticulous color grading to evoke the desired mood and aesthetic, while maintaining brand consistency across all visuals.
• Resize and optimize images for various digital platforms, ensuring optimal display quality and file size efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Creative / Art Directors and photographers to understand project requirements and execute post-production tasks effectively.
• Ensure all assets are print-ready when needed, meeting the highest standards of quality and resolution for marketing collateral and packaging materials.
• Maintain organized file management and adhere to naming conventions to ensure efficient workflow and easy retrieval of assets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in digital imaging to continuously improve processes and quality of work.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of visual style guides and brand standards related to post-production processes.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience as a Digital Imaging Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in retouching, color grading, and image manipulation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Exceptional skills in skin and hair retouching, with a keen eye for detail and authenticity.
• Ability to prepare assets for print, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and resolution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to receive and implement feedback from creative decision makers professionally and effectively.
• Passion for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries, with a deep appreciation for visual excellence and storytelling.
