For our international client, a global trading company that sources and delivers high-quality merchandise to customers across various industries with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. We are looking for somebody that wants to join the team.

This position which is open within the data team is situated in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The team has two main activities:

1) a trading activity: the traders negotiate on the parallel markets in order to find products at very competitive prices and then offer them to the various countries of the group (mainly in Europe)

2) an "In & Out" activity where it manages the sales, margins and supply of the "bargain corner" concept throughout Europe.

In a context of strong business growth, like a start-up, the client is looking to improve the quality of our database and the time to market between products creation in our system and the checkout of the stores.

You will be working in a small team (5 people), reporting to the Business Controlling Director.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Create high volume of items in a timely matter in order to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Control quality of the data provided by supplier
  • Ensure the quality of the data end to end (from the supplier to the customer

The ideal candidate:

  • Has the ability to work in a team
  • Has experience in a similar data orientated role
  • Has work experience with SAP
  • Feels comfortable working in a methodical and analytic way.
  • Possesses the ability to stay focused and accurate whilst working on administrative tasks for a longer duration of time
  • Is highly proficient in Excel
  • Is Fluent in English and spanish both written and spoken
  • Can start immediately
