The Inventory Control Section plays an important role in the availability of parts and accessories to our Nissan dealers and distributors in Europe. Parts and Accessories are received at NMPC from Nissan warehouses and suppliers from all over the world. One of the main targets is to ensure a high level of availability of parts and accessories in order meet with the demand and requirements of our customers. The NMPC Inventory Control Section is split into two teams Global Supply and Local Supply. The Inventory Control Team for Local Supply is responsible for forecasting, ordering and on time deliveries of parts & accessories from approx. 130 worldwide direct suppliers. The team exists currently of 5 members. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Secure optimal parts inventory level for part number & supplier portfolio
  • Supplier management including, daily order administration, placement and follow up by mainframe system
  • Optimizing fill rate and service level based on SAP - SPP (Service Parts Planning) Forecasting and Inventory Planning processes
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis on supplier portfolio, draw conclusions and propose action plan
  • Responsible for answering customer inquiries (feedback on delivery time and follow up)
  • Maintain good relationships with stakeholders such as Customer Service Group, Warehouse Operations & our contacts at other Nissan Group Entities
REQUIRED BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics and/or Economics or MBO Logistics and/or Economics with relevant work experience
  • Strong communicator in English and preferably Dutch
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytic, accurate and strong drive towards results
  • Pro-active and positive attitude
  • Advanced skills in Excel, knowledge of SAP
